Our Work

At Art for the Heart, we collect and assemble packs of art supplies and deliver them to children who need them. This includes children who are experiencing homelessness, entering the foster care system, receiving low-income services, and experiencing other adverse childhood events. Art packs are filled with supplies like crayons, markers, paints, sidewalk chalk, play dough, colored paper, and other crafting materials, bundled in a tote or backpack -- and it's theirs to keep. We mainly work in the greater Sacramento area but have collaborated with organizations throughout California to bring donations to children in need.
