About Us
We are a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is dedicated to brightening kids' lives through art. Our project began with a teen who realized how important art was to her own childhood. After learning more about the importance of art in childhood development, she wanted to ensure that all kids have access to art supplies, and thus began Art for the Heart. We currently work to provide art supplies to children throughout California.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide art supplies to children who need them so that they have the tools to express themselves, to benefit from important developmental activities, and to experience joy in creating art.
Our Vision
We envision a world where all children, regardless of socioeconomic status or circumstance, have access to tools to do art, including paper, crayons, markers, paint, tape, scissors, glue sticks, sidewalk chalk, and play dough.
